Hello and Welcome!

I’ve been avidly exploring vegan recipes for years, and now I’m ready to start sharing them.  I’m anxious to hear what you all have to say about my favorites, as well as get some feedback on recipes that I create.

In addition to the delicious food you’ll find here, I also want to dedicate this space to conversations about the nature of food and eating.  Vegan issues aside, topics such as emotional eating, eating disorders, and the growing obesity epidemic come to mind, since they impact a vast majority of us.  I’m sure most of us at least know someone who has some sort of eating issue or weight problem, if we don’t ourselves.  Although there isn’t a simple solution, spreading awareness and opening dialogue about the issue will hopefully get all of us on the road to change. I want us all to live the happiest and healthiest life we can!

I invite everyone on this adventure with me!  The recipes I’m going to share will have lots of fun pictures and instructions, and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do.  Although the recipes will be almost all vegan, I may review restaurants where I occasionally dine on dairy and egg. Although I feel strongly about the vegan issue, I think that everyone needs to be flexible and listen to their bodies.  So for everyone out there looking for something flexible, or an easy transition, this is the place!
